Circa 1790
Beech fluted bobbin legs
Stamped Antoine Gaillard (Paris),
hollow mark inside the seat band, on the front.
One foot is slightly offset from the rest of the armchair due to a very old restoration
Barely visible defect
Overall in very good condition despite traces of normal wear on the wood (see images)
Armchair perfectly solid and stable
The upholstery is in a very satisfactory condition, recently redone
